Math 451 First Assignment

For our next meeting:

1. Find a topic to study.  You may get some ideas by visiting the following links from My Webpage .

2. Based on your topic choose a faculty member from the Math program with which to work.

3. Read the following short paper found on JSTOR:  Galileo Sequences: Galileo Sequences: A Good Dangling Problem (you must be on a machine with an LC IP address)

      a. Be able to answer questions at the board about the paper.

      b. Be able to explain the paper to your peers
