Semester in Environmental Science at
the Marine Biological Laboratory,
Woods Hole, MA

Juniors and seniors looking for advanced opportunities to study ecological systems and interact with top researchers are encouraged to spend a semester at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.  Students can study both terrestrial and aquatic systems, conduct lab and field exercises, and undertake independent research projects.  Opportunities also exist to take science writing workshops and to hear distinguished scientists seminars.

All credit hours taken at the laboratory will automatically be applied towards the Environmental Science major at Lynchburg College.  For other majors, classes may substitute for selected LC courses.  For more information on this exciting and unique opportunity (available only for fall semesters), please visit their Semester in Environmental Science web page and talk to your academic advisor.
